This course will focus on acting and directing principles designed to accelerate your understanding of the stage. As a director, you will learn about the practical side of directing scenes and plays. As an actor, you will gain confidence by using key acting techniques to develop your ability on the stage. In this class, you will take part as an actor in some scenes to help you learn as well as direct a scene. 
By the end of this course, you will:

• Learn how to organize and shape a scene through practical exercises
• Understand what motivates a character and use actions and direction in your directing and acting
• Work on and adapt different plays to match your artistic interest and growth as a director.
