Description



 Jump into the magical world of musical theater by exploring dance choreography, vocal technique, and how to portray a character. Become a triple threat through warm-ups, group activities, theater games, and performances. Featuring songs like “Just keep Swimming" from Finding Nemo, "Journey to the Past” from Anastasia, “Floating Along” from James and the Giant Peach and “One Short Day” from Wicked! By the end of class, you’ll be ready to take center stage and shine as one of the show-stoppers in the showcase!

Natalie Wooden

Natalie is a professional theater educator and performer teaching over 500+ students in the past several years. She is the Education Coordinator for Janesville Performing Arts Center, as well as a private voice teacher, choreographer for Harvard High school theater program and musical director with Belvidere Central Middle School. When she isn't busy teaching, she performs with Starlight Theater at Rock Valley College (Recently in 'Newsies' as Katherine Plumber, 'Legally Blonde' as Whitney, and 'Oliver' as Strawberry Seller) as well as playing with her two precious Golden Retrievers and hanging out with her awesome husband Logan, who serves as the band director at Rockford Christian School.
