The fundamentals of Jazz dance are found in many other styles including musical theatre, making this class necessary for any aspiring dancer or actor. Jazz dance often utilizes modern music and features syncopated movements, energetic choreography, and complex patterns. Students will be encouraged to demonstrate the foundational elements of jazz dance in a piece to be performed at the end of class showcase production.
