My name is Melayna but you can call me Mellie. I am a CYT alumni. I started out at the age of 9 years old in 2014 and graduated in 2024. I have never called another place home as I do CYT. God has truly shaped me to be who I am now through this wonderful organization. Outside of CYT, I have done other theater companies such as Byron Civic Theatre, Gateway Performing Arts, and Beloit Civic Theatre. When I’m not on stage, I am a camp counselor for the Rockford Park District, working at Lockwood Park(The one with the big cow statue!), and also at Alpine Hills Snow Park during the wintertime.
