Description

Immerse yourself into the world of classic literature through the musical genius of composers such as Jason Howland, Lucy Simon, and Justin Paul. We will be diving into the wonderful works of Louisa May Alcott, Roald Dahl, Lucy Maud Montgomery, and many more.

Mataya Mershon

I’m Mataya, or “Mattie.” I’ve been a part of CYT since I was 9. I have vocal directed, choreographed, & have taught classes since graduating. I have been in close to 40 musicals and plays. Outside of CYT, I teach private piano and voice lessons. I live with my husband, Zack, my two cats, and my new baby girl, Elizabeth, who can’t wait to do CYT someday. I love being part of the CYT family and watching my students shine.
