Description

Let your creativity take flight through dance, drama, and singing in this musical theater class. Jump into the magical world of musical theater by exploring dance choreography, vocal technique, and how to portray a character through the lens of Encanto. Become a triple threat through warm-ups, group activities, theater games, and performances. By the end of class, you’ll be ready to take center stage and shine as one of the show-stoppers in the showcase!

Kaitlin Taylor

Kaitlin Taylor participated in CYT Aurora and Dupage performing in 20 productions. Kaitlin also was a part of Project Dance Aurora for two seasons and participated in competitive dance for 16 years. She received UDA All-American Dancer in 2018 and had the opportunity to perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Kaitlin graduated from Purdue University in 2023 with a degree in Psychology. She is so excited to be teaching at CYT Chicago after spending 4 years teaching at CYT Indy.
